Our leadership team

Tsunehisa is the Executive Vice President, Head of Global Business for the NTT Group. He’s responsible for planning and executing the global strategy.

Tsunehisa joined NTT in 1983. Since then he was engaged in network service promotion and corporate planning including the global strategy of NTT Group. In 2007 he was named General Manager of Global Business Strategy Office, Strategic Business Development Division of NTT. He was elected to Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Office and Member of the Board of NTT in 2012. Since June 2018, he was elected to his current position of Executive Vice President. Tsunehisa graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Executive Programme. 

Abhijit is Global Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer, Europe, for NTT Ltd. He has overall responsibility for ensuring we remain deeply relevant for our clients and bringing technology closer to their business strategies and operations, as well as running a purpose-led, performance driven and profitable business.

He joined the company in February 2021 from McKinsey and Company, where he most recently served as a Senior Partner and core leader of the Global Tech, Media & Telecom (TMT) Practice. He has advised technology companies, including NTT, for over 20 years on a range of challenges including strategy, Go-to-Market transformation, product and software development, delivery excellence, organizational effectiveness, M&A and post-merger integration. 

With a strong track record in helping elevate the performance and profitability of his clients, Abhijit has experience across all areas of our business including telecommunications, data centers, end user systems, enterprise software and IT services. During his tenure with McKinsey, Abhijit has also led the North America Software practice and the global cloud computing practice, which he founded. 

Prior to McKinsey, Abhijit worked at Schlumberger as a Senior Field Engineer in the Oilfield Services business (Wireline logging business group) in North Africa.

Abhijit is currently based in Seattle, U.S.A. and will be moving to London in mid-2021 with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Abhijit enjoys travelling with his family, cooking, reading, watching movies and playing board games. 

As Chief Finance Officer for NTT Ltd., Aki is responsible for our overall financial operations including corporate governance and stewardship, statutory reporting, budgeting, and large-deal governance.

Aki joined the NTT Group in 1994. He has occupied a series of roles since then including Vice President, Head of Corporate Finance & Governance at NTT Inc. and Senior Manager, Global Business Office. He also held positions at NTT Holdings including Vice President at the Global Business Office. He has an MBA in Finance / Accounting from New York University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hitotsubashi University. 

Aki is currently based in London, UK and his wife and son live in Tokyo.

Vab Goel is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Vab is the founding partner of NTT Ltd. Venture Capital (NTTVC), a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. He is also a strategic advisor to NTT Group companies on strategy, emerging technology, and trends.

Previously, Vab was a Partner at Norwest Venture Partners for 19 years, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley with $8B+ under management where he invested in startups in Asia, Israel, and USA. Vab helped launch multiple successful companies including world’s leading overlay network company, Virtela, which NTT acquired in 2014.

Vab served as Qwest’s Vice President of emerging technologies, a group he founded. In that position, he was responsible for identifying new technologies and the creation and implementation of the “Qwest IP Network and Data Center Strategy.” Prior to joining Qwest, Vab worked at Sprint, where he was a principal architect for the Sprint Internet backbone and contributed to the world’s first IP-over-Optical Internet architecture.

Vab collaborates with global CIOs to understand their challenges and help them adopt new technologies. In 1999, Vab was named as one of the Top 25 Unsung heroes of the internet. Vab holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.

Jason is a Non-executive Director for NTT Ltd.

In 1998 he was appointed the Chief Financial Officer of OmniLink, a Dimension Data subsidiary that later merged with Internet Solutions. From 2001-2003, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Internet Solutions. He first joined Dimension Data as the Managing Director of Middle East & Africa in 2003. In 2010, Jason served as Group Chief Operating Officer, and in June 2016, he joined Dimension Data’s Board of Directors. Jason was CEO of Dimension Data from 2016 to 2019, prior to serving as global CEO of NTT Ltd. from 2019 to 2021.

He holds a CA (SA) from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Jason was born in South Africa and now lives in London with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys long distance running and cycling, and spending quality time with his family.

Rory is an Independent Non-executive Director.

Rory was the Group Financial Director from 1987 - 1991. He served as Non-executive Director on the board of Dimension Data Holdings Ltd and then Dimension Data Holdings plc at the time of its listing in 2000. He also holds the post of Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Rory is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Scottish Group. His focus is on ensuring the benefits of creating brands of value and well-nurtured brands, which connect and fulfil the needs and aspirations of consumers.

Rory graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Chartered Accountant (SA). He is also a sports enthusiast, especially rugby and golf, as well as a connoisseur of wine and single malt whisky.
